How does the contrast checker work?

It computes the WCAG relative-luminance contrast ratio between your colour and a second colour, then marks pass/fail for AA and AAA at both normal and large text sizes.

What is OKLCH and why does it matter?

OKLCH is a perceptually-uniform colour space used increasingly in modern CSS. Adjusting lightness or hue in OKLCH tends to look more even than doing so in HSL.

Can I generate a whole palette from one colour?

Yes — use the harmony generator for related hues, or the tint/shade/tone scale for lighter and darker variants of the same colour.

How does colour-blindness simulation work?

It approximates how your colour would appear to someone with protanopia, deuteranopia or tritanopia using standard simulation matrices, useful for accessibility checks.
